“We hope that through the #CookForSYRIA campaign we will not only be able to raise much needed money for Unicef’s Children of Syria Fund, we will also increase awareness of the plight of children in the war-torn country. Through cooking, sharing recipes and the power of social media, we invite everyone to help make a difference and positive contribution towards this important initiative.”

What is
#CookForSyria

#CookForSYRIA is a global fundraising initiative curated by Clerkenwell Boy and SUITCASE Magazine in partnership with Unicef NEXTGeneration London. #CookForSYRIA first started as a simple supper club, where a group of foodie friends came together to celebrate Syrian cuisine and raise money to help Unicef protect Syrian children. Now it’s a global movement, and everybody is invited to the table. From cookbooks to supper clubs, #CookForSYRIA is raising vital funds for Unicef with support from the world’s top chefs, restaurants and volunteers.

Why
#CookForSyria

Syria is one of the most dangerous places to be a child. After six years of war, it’s children who are bearing the brunt of this conflict, with 8.4 million children affected by the Syria crisis. A child is a child, no matter what. These children should be free from worry. They should be with their families. They should be in school: playing, learning and living like any other child. By supporting #CookForSYRIA, you’re helping Unicef – one of the few humanitarian agencies working inside Syria – keep more children safe. Thank you.
